Santa Claus
 will start his holiday hours next week at the Palmdale Playhouse, and this weekend at the Antelope Valley Mall The Antelope Valley Mall is an enclosed shopping mall in Palmdale, California.

Opened in September, 1990, its buildings take up around 1 million square feet (90,000 m²). Its physical main building, parking lots, and ring road businesses encompass an area a bit less than 0.

Santa will listen to children's wishes during open houses from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. next Wednesday, noon to 4 p.m. Nov. 30 and Dec. 7, and 2 to 6 p.m. Dec. 14 at the theater, 38334 10th St. E.

Santa also will be at the Antelope Valley Mall during its KidsFest 2005, which will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. Santa will arrive at 11 a.m. Saturday, and will be in the mall's Center Court daily through Christmas Eve.

Santa is usually at the mall from about an hour after opening to about an hour before closing.

Instant digital photo packages with Santa will be available at the mall.
