JOINING THE BAND HOSPITAL SELLING BLUE BRACELETS.

To raise funds for Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital's Emergency Department expansion project, the hospital will offer Giving Saves Lives blue jelly bands at retail outlets throughout the Santa Clarita Valley The Santa Clarita Valley is the valley of the Santa Clara River in Southern California. It stretches through Los Angeles County and Ventura County. Its main population center is the city of Santa Clarita. The valley was part of the 48,612-acre (19,672.  and on the hospital campus.

Proceeds from the bands - selling for $1 or greater donation - will bring the Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Health Foundation closer to its $12 million goal for The Next Generation of Care Campaign. The campaign will fund a new Emergency Department and the construction of a Cardiac Catheterization Cardiac Catheterization Definition

Cardiac catheterization (also called heart catheterization) is a diagnostic procedure which does a comprehensive examination of how the heart and its blood vessels function.
 Lab. To date, the hospital has raised more than $10 million toward the campaign.

``We want to make it possible for every person in the Santa Clarita Valley be a part of the campaign for the Next Generation of Care and invest in their community hospital,'' said Diana Vose, health foundation president. ``By providing the bands in local retail outlets, we're certain that our community will support the best in health care at Henry Mayo, and wear the bands to encourage others to give.''

The health foundation has 5,000 Giving Saves Lives bands for the fundraising initiative and is ready to make additional bands available as needed as needed prn. See prn order. . The hospital foundation hopes that community members will wear the bands with pride while investing in the hospital, which is committed to improving the health of the community through compassion and excellence in healthcare services.

On the Henry Mayo campus, the bands are available at the gift shop and foundation and volunteer offices. Retail outlets participating in the sale of the bands include: Tranquility Salon & Spa; Maggie Moos; Flair Cleaners; Bank of Santa Clarita Santa Clarita, city (1990 pop. 110,642), Los Angeles co., S Calif., suburb 30 mi (48 km) NW of downtown Los Angeles, on the Santa Clara River; inc. 1987. Situated in the Santa Clara valley and nearby canyons, Santa Clarita includes the former towns of Canyon Country, ; Salt Creek Salt Creek refers to:

Townships
 Grill; Paseo Club; Ice Station Valencia; and Party America Party America is a chain of stores that supply goods for special occasions (ie:birthday, graduation, holidays.)
