last Tuesday Last Tuesday is a Christian melodic punk rock band hailing from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. They played their final show on March 10th, 2007. Last Tuesday was formed in 1999 in Harrisburg, P.A.  and there was a collective sigh of relief that, yes, it's going to be spiritual and pure,'' said Cantor Patti Linsky. Linsky has been preparing and teaching 13 songs to the 8- to 13-year-old choir members since October.

``These children have been very focused and committed. They did it fully. It has reaffirmed my love of teaching. I think they're excited about doing something that hasn't been done before. People will be moved by what they hear,'' said Linsky, who will have a cantorial solo during the professionally broadcast service.

A special prayer book will be given to the congregation. The congregation will have the chance to participate in some of the singing. The CD used as the musical backdrop will be available for purchase Friday.

``It's beautiful music. The purity touches people. It's what can move the heart and soul. There's one song, `When Children Sing to God'; I don't think there will be a dry eye in the house when that is sung. My prayer is that people will be moved and that they will find the purity within themselves that this music evokes,'' said Linsky.

SHABBAT SHIRAH will be celebrated with ``L'maaseih V'reisheet - To Re-create the World,'' at 7:30 p.m. Friday. Temple Ahavat Shalom, 18200 Rinaldi Place, Northridge. Call (818) 360-2258.
