JOHN C. ARGUE RESIGNS AS CALFED INC. DIRECTOR LOS ANGELES, Nov. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- John C. Argue, senior
partner of the law firm of Argue Pearson Harbison & Myers, has resigned from the board of directors of CalFed Inc. (NYSE: CAL), citing personal reasons.
"No board could ask for a more perceptive or energetic director than John Argue," said Jerry St. Dennis, chairman and chief executive officer of CalFed Inc. "We accept his resignation with deep regret." Argue was elected to the company's board in 1984.
