Call it 15 down and 17 to go. But whatever the label, judicial nominating commissions around Florida are gearing up to fill the second batch of new judgeships approved by the legislature earlier this year.

2. To give permission for; sanction: a total, of 32 new judgeships in the spring, specifying that 15 were to be advertised no sooner than August 1, and the remainder no sooner than October 1. In this round, JNCs will be interviewing applicants for one district court of appeal judge, 12 circuit judgeships and four, county judgeships.
The vacancies are for one seat on the Fifth DCA (1) (Document Content Architecture) IBM file formats for text documents. DCA/RFT (Revisable-Form Text) is the primary format and can be edited. DCA/FFT (Final-Form Text) has been formatted for a particular output device and cannot be changed. , two circuit vacancies each in the Fifth, Sixth and 19th circuits, one circuit vacancy VACANCY. While the applications, can be found and downloaded online, they cannot be submitted electronically. Applicants must still deliver or mail 10 copies of their applications with required additional attachments to the JNC chair or designated contact person by 5 p.m. on the dates noted below. Applicants should also contact the person noted in the chart to find out any additional requirements of that JNC.
