JLL expansion continues with company purchase.


Jones Lang LaSalle Jones Lang LaSalle (NYSE: JLL) is a major real estate and money management services firm headquartered in the Aon Center in Chicago, Illinois and the only company in its industry making it into Fortune magazine's list of the 100 Best Places to Work in the U.S.  has entered into an agreement to acquire Quartararo & Associates Inc., the preeminent independent project management firm in the New York New York, state, United States
New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of
 metropolitan region.

The acquisition positions Jones Lang LaSalle as the most powerful project and development services operation regionally and nationally, and enables the company to provide Q&A clients with its full range of integrated real estate services.

Q&A is based in New York, with offices in New Jersey and Connecticut, and conducts business in the Northeast and nationally. The company managed the development of seven million square feet of space during the past year, including representing Time Warner's interests in the 2.8 million square foot Time Warner Center The Time Warner Center is a mixed-use skyscraper developed by The Related Companies in New York City. Its design, by David Childs and Mustafa Kemal Abadan of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, consists of two 229 m (750 ft) towers bridged by a multi-story atrium containing upscale retail  project. Jones Lang LaSalle is known for the strength of its project and development services, and this acquisition further positions the company as the dominant player in the New York region and nationally.

Q&A co-founders Ray Quartararo and Dennis Squilla will join Jones Lang LaSalle as managing directors, and Quartararo will also serve as Northeast region manager of the company's project and development services business. Additionally, Q&A's professional team of approximately 45 people will join Jones Lang LaSalle.

The acquisition of Q&A further strengthens Jones Lang LaSalle's fully integrated real estate service offerings in New York, which include leasing, property management, project and development management, capital markets and investment sales, hotel advisory and facilities management The management of a user's computer installation by an outside organization. All operations including systems, programming and the datacenter can be performed by the facilities management organization on the user's premises. .
