The brilliant winner of the Epsom equivalent and runner-up in both the English and Irish 2000 Guineas was found to be not quite sound last Friday.
Although Bolger left it as late as possible to give him a chance to line up at the Curragh, he was pulled out on Sunday morning.
Bolger, who believes the ailment is not a stone bruise, reported the area of trouble to be on the chestnut's near-hind leg.
"I haven't any news at the moment, as I am still waiting for the results of X-rays and various other things," he explained.
