DESCRIBE YOUR BUSINESS: I create necklaces and rings out of wire and gems. I work mostly with raw and faceted stones and they are all very earthy earth·y
adj. earth·i·er, earth·i·est
1. Of, consisting of, or resembling earth: an earthy smell.

2. Of or characteristic of this world; worldly.

3.
. Raw stones come out of the ground as they are, and faceted stones are manipulated in some way. All of the stones have different frequencies and energy.

IS THIS YOUR FIRST BUSINESS? No.

WHY DID YOU START THIS BUSINESS? I'm fascinated with the powers of gems and crystals.

WHERE DID YOU GET THE IDEA? Finding a lack of earthy, of mixing faceted with raw, got my wheels going.

HOW LONG WAS IT FROM CONCEPT TO OPENING? Three years.

WHAT DID YOU DO DURING THAT TIME? Built a showroom and a beautifully designed studio and created the different collections.

WHAT WERE YOUR STARTUP COSTS AND HOW DID YOU FINANCE THE BUSINESS? It cost about $10,000. I'm a music publisher, and I invested the earnings in the line of jewelry.

WHO DID YOU RELY ON FOR ADVICE? Bee Clare, my mentor "My Mentor" is the second episode of the American situation comedy Scrubs. It originally aired as Episode 2 of Season 1 on October 4, 2001. Plot
Elliot gets on Carla's bad side after telling Dr. Kelso about one of Carla's mistakes. Elliot gets defensive with J.D.
who had a women's accessories store called Clarevoyance in Atlanta 25 years ago where I worked. She inspired me and educated me on minerals and jewelry.

WHAT HADN'T YOU CONSIDERED BEFORE OPENING? How superior technology is and how much I need to catch up.

WHAT IS YOUR EXPECTED REVENUE THIS YEAR? $32,500

WHAT GOALS DO YOU HAVE FOR THE COMPANY? I'd like to continue creating one-of-a-kind pieces, but I would like to design a piece or two for a specialty catalog catalog, descriptive list, on cards or in a book, of the contents of a library. Assurbanipal's library at Nineveh was cataloged on shelves of slate. The first known subject catalog was compiled by Callimachus at the Alexandrian Library in the 3d cent. B.C. , where my pieces can coordinate with new clothing fashions and look natural with them.
