James Clifford slugged two home runs to set a JetHawks record for homers in a season, but it was all the offense his team could muster in Friday night's 6-2 loss to Rancho Cucamonga Rancho Cucamonga (răn`chō k'kəmäng`gə), city (1990 pop. 101,409), San Bernardino co., S Calif.  before 4,064 at Lancaster Municipal Stadium.

Clifford hit solo home runs to lead off the second and fourth innings, staking the JetHawks (14-8) to a 2-0 lead and increasing his season total to 21, one better than the 20 he hit last year.

Clifford left the game in the fifth with a strained leg muscle.

His father, Mike Sr., pitched for the expansion Toronto Blue Jays in 1977.  added a two-run homer in the ninth.

Josh Watts had two hits for Lancaster.

Quakes pitcher Domingo Guzman Domingo Guzman (born April 5, 1975) is a former major league baseball player from San Cristobal, Dominican Republic.

He made his major league debut with the San Diego Padres in 1999, and played in 8 games from 1999-2000.

Lancaster starter Denny Stark Dennis Stark (born October 27, 1974, in Edgerton, Ohio) was a Major League Baseball right-handed pitcher. He is an alumnus of the University of Toledo.

Drafted by the Seattle Mariners in the 4th round of the 1996 MLB amateur draft, Stark would make his Major League Baseball
 (1-1) did not allow a hit through 3-2/3 innings, but left the game trailing 3-2 in the seventh. He allowed seven hits and struck out four.

JETHAWKS UPDATE
