California League The California League is a minor league baseball league which operates throughout the state of California. Lake Elsinore batters fanned 11 times. Their season total is an almost equally unimpressive 237.

    Matt Sachse came up with the bases loaded in the second inning having struck out 29 times, second-highest on the team.

    Instead, Sachse dumped a two-run single into left, driving in the first two JetHawks runs.

    Sachse didn't strike out Sunday. He followed his single by hitting into a double play. He didn't bat again because he was hospitalized after a fifth-inning brawl.
