BELLEVUE, Wash., Sept. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Jerome J. Meyer, chairman and chief executive officer of Tektronix Inc., has been named to the board of directors of Esterline Technologies (NYSE: ESL), according to Esterline. He will stand for shareholder election to the board at the company's March 3, 1993, annual shareholders' meeting.
Meyer's appointment has expanded Esterline's board to 10 directors until the upcoming annual meeting. The board then returns to nine directors with the retirement of Carroll M. Martenson, who reaches mandatory board retirement age during 1993.
