JDMC Global to Build 120,000 Homes in South Africa.

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 29, 1995--Joe Dandy Mining Company, a public stock company established in 1925, has changed its name to JDMC Global Corporation.

It was unanimously decided by the Board of Directors that the name should be changed as the company will begin diversifying its operations. Although still very active in its original enterprise, mining gold in the Cripple Creek, Colorado area, JDMC Global Corporation, in agreement with International Synergy Holding Company, is creating an engineering and development affiliation as a joint venture with the experienced Jenkins/Gould partnership Architects and Surveyors of Great Britain. Now that JDMC is involved with trade and enterprises on a worldwide scale, it was decided by the board that the name should include "Global" to signify the company's expansion into the world market.

JDMC Global Corporation is currently listed on the NASDAQ Bulletin Board and has been mining gold in Colorado for nearly seventy years in the Cripple Creek area. After a period of non-operation, gold mining was resumed in June of 1995. The mining operation is performed by the Cripple Creek and Victor Mining Company (listed on the Pacific Stock Exchange) in joint venture with Minorco Mining, known for being one of the largest mining firms with over two hundred employees in the Cripple Creek area. This operation yields five percent in royalties to JDMC. Recent assay reports in the area indicate this yield to be substantial.

The purpose of the Joint Venture is to construct 15,000 affordable homes, commercial and industrial buildings in each of eight States, a total of 120,000 homes, over the period of five years. It will use American companies and materials and will obtain land and contracts and provide management in the construction of all relevant buildings on the sites. International Synergy will use its best efforts to provide necessary funding from the World Bank and/or major banks guaranteed by the United States Government to facilitate the construction of affordable housing throughout South Africa.

This is the result of the summit held in Washington between President Bill Clinton and Republic of South Africa President Nelson Mandela during the first week of October 1994, which Robert Rooks, Chairman of the Board, had the opportunity to attend. During the summit, OPIC, the U.S. Government Agency charged with encouraging U.S. private investment overseas, announced its support for two private equity funds and pledged to provide investment guarantees and political risk insurance to projects in South Africa.

The company strongly feels that the above projects will result in the creation of more jobs in South Central Los Angeles because part of the trade agreement between the two countries is that procurement of materials and equipment shall be of United States of America manufacture, therefore allowing JDMC to export products to South Africa.

The company is working along with the Consortium for Leadership on Information Networks for Trade Overseas and Nationwide. The Consortium encourages minority business participation in export promotion which can help American businesses forge mutually rewarding partnerships. The President, Bill Clinton, is very much aware of this and he is very much in favor of the goals of the Consortium.

Non-profit organizations with the assistance of the private sector can train people, especially the out-of-school youth, to manufacture windows, panes and other household goods, set up their own companies, and be able to enter the international trade to export the products to South Africa and other nations that many need the products. This is JDMC's vision before the year 2000. As of 1993, the population of South Africa was 42.7 million with 29.1 million Black inhabitants. They are in need of 1.2 million houses. The company has enlisted the assistance of Senator Dianne Feinstein, committee member of the Subcommittee on African Affairs, who has contacted other governmental agencies.

In addition to these enterprises, JDMC Global has fully activated its Entertainment Division. JDMC has acquired several film projects; two have been fully developed and pre-production is in full swing on one of the properties now. The film, entitled "Games," is slated to begin shooting on location in Southern California in October 1995. It is an entertaining, action-packed film with a strong cast.

With expansion of efforts and diversity of the fields that JDMC Global has recently initiated, it should prove to be a very successful 1996 for the company and the prognosis indicates that JDMC Global will move into the new millennium with financial strength and confidence.
