JC/SMALL COLLEGE ROUNDUP: MOORPARK CAN'T CATCH UP.

Nick Kramer of Moorpark College Moorpark College is a California-state funded community college located on a 134 acre (542,000 m²) property reclining on a hill in Moorpark, a town in Ventura County, California.  completed 22 of 35 passes for 269 yards and four touchdowns but it wasn't enough as the Raiders' rally fell short in a 48-33 nonconference loss to host El Camino.

Kramer completed 13 of 21 passes in the second half, including three fourth-quarter touchdowns to get Moorpark (0-2) close, but the Raiders had fallen too far behind at 41-13 entering the fourth quarter.

Three Moorpark receivers played well. Wide receiver Joe Shumpert caught five passes for 81 yards, including a 51-yard touchdown.

Cedric Carmel caught nine passes for 81 yards, and running back Greg Morris caught three passes for 80 yards including a 59-yard touchdown.
