JBoss, Inc. Kicks Off First Annual JBoss World 2005 User Conference and Exhibition.


ATLANTA -- Inaugural Event Brings Together Growing JBoss Community to Exchange Expertise on Deploying Open Source Middleware in the Enterprise

JBoss(R), Inc., the Professional Open Source company, today kicks off its inaugural user conference and exhibition, JBoss World 2005. The two-day event brings together the rapidly growing JBoss community, which includes customers, partners, contributors and core developers. Highlights include keynote addresses from executives at Computer Associates, HP, Novell and Unisys, as well as customer presentations from companies such as Amazon, Starwood Hotels and E-Loan, which demonstrate that Professional Open Source software is safe and ready for the enterprise.

--JBoss Open Source Federation - In response to interest from its community, JBoss is establishing the JBoss Open Source Federation, which will extend the JBoss Professional Open Source methodology to individuals, companies and sponsors to enable new and existing open source projects to commercialize and scale for the enterprise. --JBoss Network(TM) - To enhance support services support services Psychology Non-health care-related ancillary services–eg, transportation, financial aid, support groups, homemaker services, respite services, and other services  delivery to its growing customer base, JBoss introduced the JBoss Network, which provides a single portal from which customers can report problems and receive patches. Platinum, gold and silver-level service and support packages from JBoss, Inc. will provide access to the JBoss Network. It will be rolled out across the JBoss customer base, and will eventually be integrated with the JBoss Open Source Federation to provide a one-stop support platform for JEMS and all related technologies.
