 BB:JAWZ), a provider of the best in information security technologies and practices, has joined with other leading technology companies to form an international advocacy group dedicated to fostering greater understanding of and guidelines for the fast-emerging application service provider segment of the computer industry.

Based in Massachusetts, the Application Service Provider Industry Consortium (ASP Industry Consortium (Application Service Provider Industry Consortium, Wakefield, MA) A now disbanded trade organization founded in 1999 dedicated to research and standards in the application service provider (ASP) industry. ) will sponsor research, foster standards and work to articulate the measurable benefits of the evolving ASP delivery model.

JAWS will also work closely with member ASPs to incorporate its security tools into current ASP offerings to drive the adoption of this industry's technology.
