JAMES D. SCHULTENOVER NAMED SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT OF SALES AND MARKETING
 HAMPTON, N.H., Nov. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Jerry Best, president of Omni Hotels, has named James D. Schultenover as senior vice president of Marketing.
 In this capacity, Schultenover will oversee sales, marketing, public relations, advertising and central reservations for all Omni Hotels in North America.
 Schultenover's industry experience includes 12 years with Marriott Hotels & Resorts, most recently in the capacity of vice president, Customer Response Project, a company-wide evaluation effort of the customer complaint process in the method of Total Quality Management. At Marriott, Schultenover previously held titles of vice president, Group Development (company-wide), Regional Director of Marketing (New York area), Director of Marketing (New York Marriott Marquis, Chicago Marriott Downtown), Director of Sales (Chicago Marriott Downtown) and Sales Manager (Chicago Marriott Downtown).
 Prior to Marriott Hotels & Resorts, Schultenover worked for over three years in sales management and directorship for Hospitality Motor Inns at Harley Hotels.
 In announcing Schultenover's appointment, Best said, "We feel confident that Jim Schultenover's extensive sales and marketing experience will be an invaluable asset to Omni Hotels. We are looking forward to continued increase in brand awareness, market share and revenue in line with our on-going objective to become a leader in the upscale hotel segment of the industry."
 Schultenover obtained a B.S. in hotel and restaurant management from the University of Wisconsin-Stout in 1976. He resides in Gaithersburg, Md., with his wife and nine-year-old son.
 Omni Hotels is a rapidly expanding group of first class and luxury hotels and resorts in North America and the Far East. Some of the properties are the Omni Berkshire Place in New York, the Omni Houston Hotel (formerly Inn on the Park), the Omni Royal Orleans in New Orleans, the Omni Mandalay in Dallas and the Omni Asia Pacific Hotels in Hong Kong and Singapore.
