 will code share on Galaxy's flights between Tokyo's Haneda Airport and Kitakyushu Airport Kitakyushu Airport was a very small airport in Kokura Minami-ku, Kitakyushu, Japan. There used to be four flights to and from Tokyo International Airport (Haneda) every day. The runway was 1,600 metres long, so large jets could not use it.  in northern Kyushu and between Haneda and Naha, Okinawa. JAL hopes that the new code share will help expand its share of the domestic cargo market with these late night cargo flights.

By operating these code share flights under JAL flight numbers, the company hopes to boost help market share and meet customer needs.

Currently JAL holds a 10% investment in Galaxy and will provide the new airline with support in flight operations, maintenance and airport cargo handling Galaxy is majority-owned by S.G. Holdings Co. Ltd., formerly known as the Sagawa Kyubin Group, a domestic small package express delivery company.
