"Change for Good' involves collecting spare change in different currencies from passengers on international flights. The money raised is used by UNICEF to help children in more than 157 countries around the world.

Up to now JAL has featured the UNICEF 'Change for Good' campaign on three routes between Tokyo and London, Paris and New York New York, state, United States

Passengers can ask for "Change for Good' donation envelopes in the cabin and can hand over the donation directly to cabin attendants. JAL later delivers all the donations directly to UNICEF's Japan headquarters.

In further support of UNICEF, JAL also has 'Change for Good' collection boxes at passenger lounges in Narita and Kansai airports. Money from these boxes and from other collecting points in Japan is transported abroad by JAL to the currency exchange points.

Japan Airlines has been a corporate supporter for UNICEF Japan since 1991. JAL aircraft display the UNICEF logo to bring the organization to public attention - especially in Japan. The airline also helps to raise funds by selling UNICEF greetings cards in-flight and at company retail outlets.
