JAGUAR ANNOUNCES NEW SALES & MARKETING VICE PRESIDENT

 MAHWAH, N.J., Jan. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Richard N. Beattie has been named vice president, sales and marketing of Jaguar Cars Inc., announced Michael H. Dale, president. He joins Jaguar on Feb. 22 from the Ford Motor Company where he is manager for marketing plans in the general marketing office of Ford division.
 Mr. Beattie was born in Northampton, England near Coventry, and gained a business studies degree from Lanchester Polytechnic in Coventry in 1976. Since graduating, he has spent 20 years with Ford, initially in finance positions in the Ford of Europe organization in the U.K. and Germany.
 Mr. Beattie transferred to Ford USA in 1988 and has held three positions in North America -- one in the finance area (manager of European business analysis), and two in the marketing organization (manager of North America sales analysis and production programming), and most recently as manager of product marketing plans for the Ford division.
