 JACOBS RECEIVES CONTRACT FOR EXXON AROMATICS PROJECTS
 PASADENA, Calif, Dec. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE: JEC) announced today the receipt of a contract from Exxon Chemical Americas for engineering, design and procurement services for three related projects within Exxon's aromatics production units at their Baytown, Texas, chemical plant. The amount of the contract was not disclosed.
 The projects, according to the announcement made by Jacobs' Group Vice President Alvin S. Rapp, involve revamping and upgrading the units which were originally designed and built in the 1940s.
 The projects include a new fractionation train, retraying columns, a furnace "debottleneck," heat exchanger reratings and additional process equipment modifications throughout the aromatics units.
 The 18-month project services schedule includes extensive verification of many of the chemical plant's old drawings before the new engineering work is completed.
 Jacobs Engineering Group Inc., headquartered in Pasadena, provides single-source consulting, engineering, design, architectural, environmental and hazardous waste management, procurement, construction, construction management, contract maintenance and operations services to government and industry worldwide.
