JACOBS McKEE RECEIVES MULTIMILLION-DOLLAR CONTRACT WITH TARGET STORES INC.

 PASADENA, Calif., Nov. 17 ~PRNewswire~ -- Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE: JEC) announced today that Target Stores Inc. awarded a multimillion-dollar contract to its Robert E. McKee construction group to design and build the expansion of the Target Distribution Center in Pueblo, Colo.
 As part of the project, McKee will expand and remodel an existing 551,000-square-foot distribution warehouse for Target. The expanded facility will have the capacity to serve 76 retail stores, almost double the capacity of the current center.
 The expansion consists of a 326,700-square-foot warehouse addition, a 48,383-square-foot shipping wing addition, and approximately 600,000 square feet of additional truck parking area and site improvements.
 Interior steel mezzanine structures will be added to support new mechanized conveyor systems. Offices and restrooms will be added throughout the complex.
 The structure is a one-story steel frame with open webb steel roof joists and girders, metal roof deck with rigid insulation, and single-ply membrane roofs. The exterior walls are architectural precast concrete double tees. A total of 76 new truck docks with dock levelers and seals will be installed.
