JACOBS ENGINEERING GROUP ANNOUNCES U.S. AIR FORCE CONTRACT

 PASADENA, Calif., Sept. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE: JEC) announced today that it received an indefinite delivery to provide contract management, analyses, operational, technical, computer, and training support from the U.S. Air Force Air Combat Command at Langley Air Force Base in Virginia. Jacobs is a subcontractor to E.L. Hamm Inc. on this contract.
 "This is a one year contract with two-year options with a ceiling of $1.5 million per year for a potential total contract value of $4.5 million," stated Paul Miskimin, vice president of Jacobs. He continued, "The contract fits perfectly with the capabilities in our Augusta, Ga., office. We look forward to continuing our total support of the Air Force, through our contract with E.L. Hamm."
 Jacobs will perform analyses of a variety of base infrastructure needs at numerous bases throughout the United States and overseas, then translate these into master plans for each base and into action packages for Air Combat Command to send forward to Headquarters U.S. Air Force in Washington to obtain funding for Air Combat Command programs.
