JACKPOT ENTERPRISES INC. ANNOUNCES RESIGNATION OF DIRECTOR NEIL ROSENSTEIN

 LAS VEGAS, Sept. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Jackpot Enterprises Inc. (NYSE: J) announced today that Neil Rosenstein has resigned as a member of its board of directors. Rosenstein served Jackpot as its chief executive officer and chairman of its board of directors through June 30, 1993, and will continue to serve Jackpot in a consulting capacity.
 John O'Reilly, chairman and chief executive officer of Jackpot, stated, "Jackpot and its shareholders have been the beneficiaries of Mr. Rosenstein's outstanding leadership and business acumen." Further expressing appreciation to Rosenstein for his past services to Jackpot and assistance in accomplishing a smooth transition of his executive duties, O'Reilly stated, "The expertise and guidance provided by Mr. Rosenstein since Jackpot's founding and particularly in the past several months have provided the company with a firm foundation for future growth in the rapidly expanding gaming industry."
