J.P. Morgan's ADR Group strengthens Asia/Pacific marketing team.

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 4, 2000

J.P. Morgan's ADR ADR - Astra Digital Radio  Group introduced its new senior management and marketing team for its Asia/Pacific region today. The staffing initiatives aim to further enhance and strengthen client coverage for J.P. Morgan's American depositary receipt American Depositary Receipt (ADR)

Certificates issued by a US depository bank, representing foreign shares held by the bank, usually by a branch or correspondent in the country of issue.

Colle noted that Morgan's strategy within the region is to represent premier issuers and deliver the highest level of advice, execution and aftermarket support to maximize liquidity and market capitalization Market Capitalization

Asia/Pacific ADR team

The ADR Group's Asia/Pacific team, located in Hong Kong Hong Kong (hŏng kŏng), Mandarin Xianggang, special administrative region of China, formerly a British crown colony (2005 est. pop. 6,899,000), land area 422 sq mi (1,092 sq km), adjacent to Guangdong prov. , is headed by Ken Tse, vice president, and a sixteen-year veteran of Morgan. Most recently, Ken headed the firm's Euroclear group in Singapore. Previously he held senior positions within the firm's technology, network management and Euroclear units in Hong Kong, Tokyo, Singapore and New York New York, state, United States

Reporting to Tse in Hong Kong are Franki Lai, vice president, who is covering Greater China including Hong Kong, China and Taiwan; Peter Tsu, associate, responsible for Southeast Asian countries and Australia; and Tintin Subagyo, associate, client relationship manager for the entire region. Lai has joined the firm from Citibank in Hong Kong, where he marketed treasury and custody services throughout Greater China.  and custody specialist, joins Morgan from AMP Investments in Australia.

Tse also manages Morgan's ADR business in Japan where vice presidents Masumi Aoshima and Ikuo Ikeda run local operations. Ikeda has been with Morgan for over 30 years --- since its Tokyo office opened --- and Aoshima has been with the ADR group for two years.

Tse is also responsible for the firm's ADR business in India, where Bharat Reddy, vice president, a 4-year J.P. Morgan banker and economist covers the subcontinent from New Delhi.
