J.H. Cohn LLP has merged with San Diego-based Harlan & Boettger LLP. (Firm News).
J.H. Cohn Ferdinand Julius 1828-1898. German botanist considered the founder of bacteriology. The first to recognize bacteria as plants, he proposed a classification system for bacteria based on genus and species. LLP has merged with San Diego-based Harlan & Boettger LLP. Existing members of J.H. Cohn's San Diego office have joined the firm at its present location on Oberlin Drive. Founding partners, James C. Harlan III William C. Boettger, and Marshall J. Varano will join as partners.
