J.G.R. & ASSOCIATES WINS THE CREATIVITY IN PUBLIC RELATIONS AWARD FOR REOPENING OF BLOOMINGDALE'S STORE AT THE FALLS

 MIAMI, Jan. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- The 1993 Creativity in Public Relations Award (CIPRA), sponsored by Inside PR Magazine, has been awarded to J.G.R. & Associates, for the Southern Region in the category of Media Event.
 J.G.R. & Associates was selected for the CIPRA, by a panel of PR industry executives, for its work on the Bloomingdale's account. J.G.R. & Associates was brought on board by Bloomingdale's to carry out the grand reopening of its Miami store at the Falls Shopping Center.
 "The grand reopening of Bloomingdale's was truly a significant event for South Dade because it signaled the close to another chapter after the Hurricane Andrew saga. I'm really happy that Bloomingdale's is doing so well, and I'm excited that both Bloomingdale's and J.G.R. have been recognized by the industry for our efforts," said Julio G. Rebull Jr., president of J.G.R. & Associates.
 In addition to the Southern Region, judges will also consider entries in six other regions throughout the U.S. The winners of each region are automatically entered into a national competition. These national CIPRA winners will be honored in a banquet in New York, April 5.
