J.B. Dixson, a founding principal of Detroit-based Durocher Dixson
Werba LLC, received the Partnership for Humanity's first place
award for creativity for an ad created for the Michigan Women's
Foundation. The award was presented by Laydell Wood Harper, director of
community relations for Detroit Newspapers, sponsor of the Partnership
for Humanity, a six-year-old program linking local non-profit
organizations with area advertising agencies and Detroit Newspapers. The
ads appear in The Detroit News and the Detroit Free Press on a rotating
basis throughout the year.
