J. & W. Seligman & Co. Names Christine Connor as Vice President Consultant Relations.Business Editors NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 20, 2001 J. & W. Seligman & Co. Incorporated, announced that it has named Christine A. Connor as Vice President Consultant Relations (a newly-created position) in the firm's institutional asset management operations. She reports to Rodney Smith, Managing Director, who is responsible for the firm's institutional business in the U.S. and offshore. Ms. Connor, 36, will be based in Seligman's New York New York, state, United States New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of office and will design and implement new business development and marketing initiatives in the institutional market. She will have specific responsibility for enhancing Seligman's communications with consulting organizations that aid institutional investors with asset manager selection and supervision. "J. & W. Ms. Connor brings to Seligman more then 14 years of experience in the investment management industry, including client service, account sales, and investment analysis. She was previously with BARRA BARRA Bangladesh Rural Reconstruction Association Rogerscasey, where she managed institutional client relationships for 16 U.S. retirement plans whose individual assets ranged from $250 million to $4 billion. Ms. Connor advised clients on asset allocation, investment structure design, and investment manager selection. She led 29 searches for investment managers on behalf of clients. Prior to BARRA RogersCasey, she served at Mellon Trust from 1995-1999 where she was responsible for the administration of endowment and pension relationships with more than $25 billion in assets.
