), today announced that J O Hambro Investment Management (JOHIM JOHIM JO Hambro Investment Management Ltd (UK) ), an established UK private client investment manager, has signed a partnership with SunGard to adapt APSYS III to the UK market. APSYS III is a flexible, multi-lingual, multi-currency, multi-entity, real-time, front-to-back solution designed primarily for financial institutions to serve their private investment management clients. JOHIM has been using SunGard's ePal solution for over fourteen years. ePAL is a comprehensive, front-to-back investment, accounting and reporting service for managers of private clients. JOHIM believes that its use of ePAL has helped in its success with its clients, by allowing the firm to focus on its core skills of investment and client management. JOHIM plans to implement APSYS III in the UK to cover multi-currency needs and generation of orders, and to achieve better automation with internal and external straight-through processing straight-through processing
