Ixia said the quarter's growth was driven by its 10 Gig product line and sales of ANVL ANVL Automated Network Validation Library  and Chariot chariot, earliest and simplest type of carriage and the chief vehicle of many ancient peoples. The chariot was known among the Babylonians before the introduction of horses c.2000 B.C. and was first drawn by asses. The chariot and horse introduced into Egypt c.1700 B.  software. Ixia added 93 new customers during the quarter, largely as a result of the prior acquisition of the Chariot product line.

The company also reported increases in sales in the Asia Pacific region.

Ixia designs and develops testing equipment for the telecommunications industry.
