Ixia (Nasdaq:XXIA), a leading, global provider of IP network testing solutions, announced today significant enhancements to its IxAccess broadband test suite. These enhancements deliver the industry's highest level of scalability and realistic application traffic environment for executing performance, stress and negative tests on broadband access See broadband and wireless broadband.  aggregation devices.

The new enhancements enable network equipment manufacturers and service providers to design and maintain large scale, low cost, easy-to-use and automated test beds in a small physical space, eliminating the need to maintain large numbers of end-user broadband devices such as DSL modems to simulate real-world environments.
