Ives Development Releases TeamStudio Design System For Japanese Market; New Release Now Available At www.teamstudio.com.

BEVERLY, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 17, 2000

Ives Development, Inc. announced availability of a fully localized Japanese version of the TeamStudio Design System, the company's suite of software engineering tools for Lotus Notes Messaging and groupware software from IBM Lotus that was introduced in 1989 for OS/2 and later expanded to Windows, Mac, Unix, NetWare, AS/400 and S/390. Notes provides e-mail, document sharing, workflow, group discussions and calendaring and scheduling.  and Domino. Deliveries to the first customers began on January 11, 2000, from the Ives Development web site.

The TeamStudio suite has five modules: Analyzer for design analysis, CIAO! (client and server editions) for check-in/check-out and version control, Configurator for global search and replace, Delta for differential analysis and Librarian for code reuse Code reuse, also called software reuse, is the use of existing software, or software knowledge, to build new software. Ad hoc reuse has been practiced from the earliest days of programming. Programmers have always reused sections of code, templates, functions, and procedures. .
