), has completed development of a "cool season turf" application program that uses each of its previously announced commercial liquid fertilizer products.

These products are Gold'n Gro 20-1-7, Gold'n Gro Iron, and Gold'n Gro Manganese.

"Cool season turf grasses" include fescues, blue-grasses, rye-grasses, and bent grasses.

The turf application program uses Gold'n Gro 20-1-7, which was ranked No. 1 for the second consecutive year in a University of California The University of California has a combined student body of more than 191,000 students, over 1,340,000 living alumni, and a combined systemwide and campus endowment of just over $7.3 billion (8th largest in the United States).  Riverside evaluation program, as the base fertilizer. Gold'n Gro Iron and Gold'n Gro Manganese are used as supplements.

Two protocols have been developed, one for normal "cool season turf," and one for "cool season turf" which suffers from manganese deficiency manganese deficiency A rare mineral deficiency state due to a lack of dietary intake of manganese Clinical MD during gestation is linked to skeletal defects—shortened limbs, chondrodystrophy, incoordination, ataxia, tremors and hyperreflexia. Markets for the application program are lawn service companies and golf courses that use liquid fertilizer products in their nutrition programs.

The program is cost-competitive and produces excellent results in use. The price/quality superiority of this program is attractive to users.

IMI has been working with Nitro-Green Corp., a lawn service franchise company, in developing the application program protocols. The application parameters were developed using the results of the application tests performed at the University of California Riverside. Nitro-Green has been using the program with good results at a franchise in Northern California Northern California, sometimes referred to as NorCal, is the northern portion of the U.S. state of California. The region contains the San Francisco Bay Area, the state capital, Sacramento; as well as the substantial natural beauty of the redwood forests, the northern  and is now introducing the program to other franchises in the Northern California market. There are more than 100 franchises in the Nitro-Green group.

Source-1, a sister company of WFS, is presenting the program to some of its distributors for evaluation. A manufacturing subsidiary of WFS is selling nitrogen and phosphate raw materials to IMI for use in its Gold'n Gro fertilizer products.

IMI is selling Gold'n Gro 20-1-7 and Gold'n Gro Iron to Nitro-Green and to WFS. Gold'n Gro Manganese is still being evaluated by WFS.
