Italian-Americans honor Petillo.


The New Jersey Italian American An Italian American is an American of Italian descent. The phrase may refer to someone born in the United States of Italian heritage or to someone who has immigrated to the United States from Italy.  Heritage Foundation will host the first showing of the new documentary film, "The Italian Americans This is a list of famous Italian Americans.

The Foundation will honor Dr. John J. Petillo, president of the University of Medicine and Dentistry in N.J. (UMDNJ UMDNJ University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey ), recognizing him for his accomplishments, including his service as former CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  of N.J. Blue Cross/Blue Shield and chancellor of Seton Hall University Seton Hall University is a private Roman Catholic university located 14 miles from Manhattan in historic South Orange, New Jersey. Founded in 1856 by Archbishop James Roosevelt Bayley, Seton Hall is the oldest diocesan university in the United States. .

Peter Cocoziello, president and CEO of Advance Realty Group and chairman of the N.J. Italian American Heritage Foundation, said. "I commend the N.J. Italian American Heritage Foundation on providing such an educational, moving and enlightening documentary, which truly exemplifies the spirit of Italian Americans throughout the state."

Developed by the Italian Foundation in response to the stereotypical, negative images of Italian Americans in the media, this documentary takes a fresh look at Italian Americans in New Jersey and their contributions to our society.
