Since its inception in 1996, the Detroit Regional Economic Partnership -- the economic-development arm of the Detroit Regional Chamber -- has taken full advantage of this not-to-be-missed opportunity to promote the Detroit Region as a great place to do business. The Partnership's exhibit space this year is twice the size of last year's, and our staff is in the process of designing a brand new booth to wow the more than 50,000 automotive industry professionals who attend this show. The idea behind this new design is to add a modern edge to the region's image and emphasize that we are truly a high-tech region, employing cutting-edge technology in automotive and other industries.
