It's never been easier to get a good grade at DBU!

Mike Williams, Dallas Baptist University, has done a great favor to his students and to the Southern Baptist Historical Society.

Mike is committed to Baptist history and to teaching his students about that history. No better source for Southern Baptist history exists than Baptist History and Heritage. So how does Professor Williams bring these two goals together?

Each student who will join the Southern Baptist Historical Society receives extra credit. The student is exposed to an outstanding historical journal, the professor has accomplished his goal of acquainting his students with a resource that will benefit them for the rest of their lives, and the SBHS receives new members who become aware of the many benefits membership in the society offers.

Franklin Owen, former executive secretary of the Kentucky Baptist Convention, told a story about some boys playing with a white football which they accidentally kicked into the chicken yard. The reigning rooster saw the ball, and called all the hens. He strutted around the ball for a while and said, "Ladies, keep your eye on this and do the best you can."
