D-MAX has established itself as the top selling pickup in Thailand, winning 2005 Car of the Year in Thailand, Best Seller Pickup and the Best Fuel Economy Pickup. The pickup originates in Thailand but sells in 80 countries worldwide.

Isuzu started local pickup production in Thailand in 1974, with cumulative sales of 1.54 million units. The D-MAX set an annual sales record of 163,153 units in 2005.

Isuzu Thailand has held top market share in commercial vehicles segment for 23 consecutive years and top market share in pickup trucks segment for 10 consecutive years.
