Israel's defense industries will exhibit a range of innovative and original solutions at Asian Aerospace 2004, an international aviation and security conference held once every two years in Singapore. Among the companies to be showcased in the Israel Export's pavilion are Israel Aircraft Industries, Elbit Systems, TAAS Israel Industries, Rafael Industries, Elisra Group (including Elisra Systems, Tadiran Systems and Tadiran Spectralink), Tadiran Communications, Orbit, Nir-Or, Hydro-Mechanics, Rokar BAE, I.T.L and SIBAT, Israel Ministry of Defense.

ORBIT Avionics & Communication Systems has recently supplied the Israeli Air Force with the ADAMS (Airborne Digital Audio Management System). After the first phase of flights on special mission aircraft, this state-of-the-art system was rated "top level" by the customer for its high performance and functionality. Development of the ADAMS naval version has been completed with delivery of the first lot of serial production expected within a month.

ITL expects to present its latest revolutionary system, the SOS (Spatial Orientation System). The SOS is an advanced system specially designed for infantry and SOF soldiers and commanders engaged in urban and modern battle activities. The SOS is a compact hand-held system consisting of a laser range finder, a digital compass, a communication controller and a color display. The SOS, operated by a PC and a GPS, enables navigation, environmental orientation, situational awareness, target acquisition and spatial orientation.

ITL will also display its new and unique full military, ruggedized wearable PC.

Nir-Or's family of Display & Recorder Units (DRU), combining an Active Matrix LCD with a built in digital recorder, suits a broad range of airborne marine and ground applications. The DRU has two VGA inputs and two composite video inputs that can be selected for display or recording, using the front panel keys. The unit enables simultaneous recording of one of the input signals while displaying another input. The digital recorder, embedded in the unit, enables a professional quality recording of a VGA or a composite video with one audio channel and offers instant playback of the recorded channel. The recorded media can be debriefed on an ordinary PC equipped with a cassette adaptor and standard media player software.
