Island resort launch attracts Neue crowd.


Louise Sunshine, former chairman emeritus of the Corcoran Sunshine Marketing Group, was among the guests who turned out for the launch of upcoming residential and resort destination Dellis Cay, located in the Turks and Caicos Islands Turks and Caicos Islands (kī`kōs), dependency of Great Britain (2005 est. pop. 20,600), 166 sq mi (430 sq km), West Indies. At the event, guests were treated to a private viewing of the Neue Gallerie's upper floors, which feature the work of Gustav Klimt and Josef Heller. Chef Kurt Gutenbrunner of Wallse offered his signature menu of modern Viennese delicacies. The evening's highlights were performances by the Venezualan-born Gabriela Montero, who wowed the crowd with a repertoire of Chopin and Rachmaninoff and a show-stopping classical improvisation.

Dellis Cay is being designed by a team of the world's top architects that includes Shigeru Ban, David Chipperfield, Carl Ettensperger, Zaha Hadid, Kengo Kuma and Piero Lissoni.
