Island SOS answers its 'own' call; EMERGENCY.

AN island's new ambulance has answered its first emergency callout - to rush one of its own crew to hospital.

Arranmore, off Co Donegal, officially launched the service yesterday.

However, it had its first SOS SOS, code letters of the international distress signal. The signal is expressed in International Morse code as … — — — … (three dots, three dashes, three dots).  earlier this week from crew member Nora Flanagan.

She was struck by a severe allergic attack that required immediate treatment and transfer to hospital.

Grandmother Nora said: "I can now give an assurance that the service works brilliantly. It arrived within three minutes "Three Minutes" is the 46th episode of Lost. It is the twenty-second episode of the second season. The episode was directed by Stephen Williams, and written by Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz. It first aired on May 17, 2006 on ABC.  of the call and got me to the lifeboat in another three minutes."
