Is Jon Corzine angling to become the next head of the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) is the Democratic Hill committee for the United States Senate, working to elect Democrats to that body. Senator Jon Corzine of New Jersey was chair for the U.S. Senate election, 2004. ? The wealthy New Jersey senator, a state-of-the-art Democratic liberal who's been in the Senate less than two years, has lent a helping hand to colleagues in need. During this election cycle, he's given $2,000 each to Paul Wellstone, Max Cleland, Jean Carnahan, and Max Baucus, all of whom are running tough re-election campaigns. He's also ponied up another $2,000 to Maria Cantwell, the former Real Network CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  who's had trouble paying off her '00 campaign debt in the wake of the stock market downturn, and to Tom Strickland, who's running an underdog campaign to knock off to cease, as from work; to desist.
