Iridium North America Service Provider Certification Awarded to Motorola Worldwide Information Network Services.

CHANDLER, Ariz.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 21, 1998--Motorola Inc. (NYSE:MOT) Monday announced that its service provider business, Motorola Worldwide Information Network Services (M-WINS), received operational and marketing certification to become Iridium North America's first fully integrated service provider for U.S. government customers needing global, mobile Iridium voice and paging services.

M-WINS is a business unit of Motorola's Space Systems and Services Division.
