Managing-Director of Hasheminejad gas processing plant Massoud Hassani told Shana that total gas intake of the plant, whether sour or sweet, amounts to 57 million cubic meters per day.
"Gas intake of the plant will rise by 10 million cubic meters reaching 67 million cubic meters per day upon the completion of a development plan," the official continued.
On sulfur production by the plant, the official noted that sulfur production capacity of Hasheminejad gas processing plant stands at 2.6 thousand tons per day even though actual production is two thousand tons.
"The plant produced 139,150 tons of sulfur during the first quarter of the current year," Hassani said, adding the volume has grown by six percent against the similar period last year.
He referred to gas liquids as another product of the plant, and said Hasheminejad gas processing plant's gas liquids production rose from 24,615 tons in first quarter of last year to 32,838 thousand tons in the first quarter of this year.
