The National Defense Industrial Association Iowa Illinois chapter presented the Paul Greenberg Award for lifetime contributions to the ammunition industrial base to John W. Masengarb.

Masengarb has more than 40 year's experience in conventional ammunition programs, both as a civilian and now as senior staff analyst with Quantitech Corp. He currently serves as the chapter's secretary/treasurer.

The chapter also gave out four $1,000 NDIA scholarships and two $1,000 Sgt. Paul Fisher scholarships. Maj. Gen. Robert Radin, commander of the Army Sustainment Command, was present to bestow the honors. In the past nine years, the chapter has awarded more than $46,000 in scholarships.
