to the pending award of a contract for further development of our LIPC technology. This is one of the final requirements prior to contract award. We are currently finalizing the details regarding these activities and can not comment on the amount or timing of the award, or on any specifics of the work involved. The Navy posting is significant because it outlines the breadth of our capabilities in technology development, and also notes that Ionatron is the only source currently capable of performing this type of development. We can confirm that this pending contract award relates to funding that was previously authorized by Congress, although the award amount will not fully reflect the total Congressional "plus-up" amount. It is our understanding that some of that original funding will go towards the Navy effort to support the overall technology development. We are also pleased to note that expedited contracting procedures will be utilized which should allow us to continue the momentum in LIPC technology development."
