Invitation to college open evening.PROSPECTIVE students are being invited to an open evening at Henley Hen·ley or Hen·ley-on-ThamesA municipal borough of south-central England west of London. It is the site of a famed annual rowing regatta that was established in 1839. Population: 10,976. College, Coventry, next week. The event takes place on Tuesday and will enable prospective students and their parents to find out more about the courses on offer as well as the facilities available at the college. Henley College offers a range of academic and vocational courses, with students able to obtain a number of qualifications, including NVQs, BTEC BTEC Business and Technology Education Council (UK) BTEC Biomanufacturing Training and Education Center (Raleigh, NC) BTEC Business Transformation Executive Committee diplomas and national certificates. In addition, the college boasts sports development centres in football, swimming and rugby for talented youngsters looking to pursue their sporting aspirations aspirations npl → aspiraciones fpl (= ambition); ambición f aspirations npl (= hopes, ambition) → aspirations fpl alongside an academic or vocational qualification. Information on adult apprenticeships will be available for those interested. The open evening will run from 5.30pm to 8pm and there will be opportunities to watch students in action in the college's salons and kitchens.
