John Barker brings to Invisible Worlds more than 13 years of experience in the legal industry. His experience includes a variety of consulting and product development positions at LEXIS-NEXIS, where he was an executive legal consultant to the corporate and government legal markets, and a product manager for the enhanced SHEPARD'S Citations Service. He also assisted in developing product requirements for indexing the LEXIS-NEXIS news archive and creating associative retrieval products utilizing citation-networking technology. John served as special counsel for Technology at the law firm of Ice Miller Donadio & Ryan in Indianapolis, Ind. His experience as a WESTLAW Account Representative stimulated his interest in product development for the legal market. He received his law degree, cum laude, in 1989 from Tulane University School of Law in New Orleans and graduated magna cum laude in 1986 with a Masters of Arts in Philosophy from the Catholic University of Louvain in Belgium. John also clerked for 5th Circuit Magistrate John Simon, U.S. District Court in Alexandria, La.
