Investment Dewax Ovens.

Flashfire dewax ovens are available from Ransom & Randolph. The Yorkaire dewax oven offers the investment caster an alternative to existing autoclave autoclave

The oven was developed to operate simply with the fewest moving parts Moving parts are the components of a device that undergo continuous or frequent motion, most commonly rotation. The ovens have two main compartments: the lower chamber where the dewaxing is done and the upper chamber, which acts as the thermal reactor or afterburner afterburner

section. The dewaxing chamber features a modular refractory hearth with integrated drainports. Ceramic shells are placed over these drainports and after the door is closed, the burners quickly reach the target temperature for dewaxing the mold. As the wax melts, it is collected in a water bath located under the ports for recycling or other processing. The afterburner is designed to quickly accommodate the hydrocarbon load that is generated in the lower combustion chamber. In the upper chamber, the hydrocarbon dwell time and temperature ensure complete combustion. Depending on the wax load, cycle time is 10 -15 min.
