The National Veterans Wheelchair Games is the largest annual wheelchair sporting event in the world. Kids Day will provide an opportunity for children with disabilities to learn about the world of adaptive sports and recreation. Events will include wheelchair softball, field events and games, as well as appearances by local celebrities and some of the best wheelchair athletes in the world. Kids Day will take place on Randall's Island, in New York from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on July 4. The event is free of charge for children with physical disabilities and their families.
