Introducing NRPAnet: a new way to network.

In response to member feedback gathered during the past two years, NRPA's E-Communities networking tool has undergone a transformation and has been reintroduced as NRPAnet, an email listserve. NRPA NRPA National Recreation and Park Association
NRPA Natural Resources Protective Association (Staten Island, NY)
NRPA Niagara Regional Police Association (Canada)
NRPA National Rifle and Pistol Association
strives to listen and respond to members' needs and, overwhelmingly, the call for a return to the ease of use offered by a listserve model is what we had heard.

What this means is a return to a simpler e-mail based model, enhanced with a message archive, digest feature and a few other add-ons. NRPAnet is still a members-only benefit, meaning members will have to log in to the NRPA Web site to subscribe to Verb 1. subscribe to - receive or obtain regularly; "We take the Times every day"

the e-mail list. They will also manage their user accounts and preferences online via the NRPA Web site.

To get started using NRPAnet, log in to the NRPA Web site with your user name (membership I.D. number) and password A secret word or code used to serve as a security measure against unauthorized access to data. It is normally managed by the operating system or DBMS. However, the computer can only verify the legitimacy of the password, not the legitimacy of the user. See NCSC.  (last name), click on "My Page," then select "NRPAnet." From there, click on the "Subscribe to NRPAnet" link, and follow the instructions to subscribe To sign up for a service. Contrast with unsubscribe. See opt-in and syndication format.
